About Us:
The planning for an Assisted Living facility in our community began in 2004 with a survey, presentations in Morris County and the surrounding counties for their input. The ground breaking was spring of 2006 and dedication November 17, 2007. Residents began moving in soon after the Open House.
On November 20, 2019 as the major investor, the Morris County Hospital Foundation headed up the change in investor participation with the mortgagor, HUD, and the Morris County Hospital was subsequently invited by the investors to manage the operations of the facility beginning on November 21, 2019.

What makes us special:
Being under the supervision of Morris County Hospital, the Assisted Living Center has access to backup support on a 24/7 basis. In addition, the hospital’s HR department is better staffed to help the Assisted Living team fill vacancies and offer continuing education opportunities. You will find the Assisted Living staff kind, caring, compassionate: focused on meeting the daily needs of each resident. Getting to know the Resident and their Family – is their number one objective! Add in some delicious home cooked meals, planned activities, personal housekeeping & laundry service, as well as an in-house salon service, and your new home is pretty well equipped for comfort.

Why choose us:
There is private meeting space for residents to have families come and visit for a meal or family celebration. The Morris County Assisted Living (MCAL) serves a great purpose for Morris County and the surrounding areas for individuals that find a need in retirement for additional help while living alone or still married. One does not have to do the heavy lifting anymore-mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, and washing the windows; those duties are in the past—now it is time to relax and meet new friends or rekindle old ones.
